Stone & Brush

Handmade artwork by local yokel and Hoosier artist extraordinaire, Nicole Rininger.

My work is inspired by a mish-mash of weirdly beautiful people, post-capitalist decay, found imagery, and your grandma's house. Just like our world, some things are purely aesthetically pleasing and utilitarian while others are off-putting or strangely funny. I'm all over the place, man, but why limit myself?

Meet the Artist

Nicole Rininger

I'm Nicole Rininger, a ceramic artist and painter from North Liberty, Indiana. I earned a BA in Fine Arts from Indiana University South Bend, focusing on Drawing and Painting, and later earned my teaching certification from Indiana Wesleyan University. After nearly a decade of teaching art, I discovered pottery at the South Bend Museum of Art and became deeply passionate about it.

Now, I create handmade pottery, along with drawings, paintings (and anything else that has caught my attention at the moment) that reflect my ongoing journey as an artist. I'm always evolving and seeking new ways to express myself.

Thank you for visiting my site. Feel free to check out my art and reach out with any questions.
